The VersaStudio BN-20 inkjet printer/cutter is perfect for applications such as labels, decals, heat transfer appliqués and posters, and easily handles the following materials in rolls up to 20-inch by 50-foot.

  Roland Eco-Sol MAX ink offers fast drying time, high density, a wide color gamut, rugged scratch resistance, a low cost per square foot and broad media support. The BN-20 can be set up in for printing both standard and luxury items
  

• Take Control of Cutting

  Combined with 300 gram cutting capability, the integrated contour cutting of the BN-20 is consistent and virtually eliminates common problems inherent in drag knife technology with simple up/down electronic controls. Ingenious cutting carriage technology prevents bounce against the media if the force is set too high for the substrate.

• Low Maintenance Cost, High Reliability

  Built with Roland's legendary reliability, the BN-20 features a gold-plated head to reduce static and prevent clogging and a patent-pending wiper system to decrease wear and tear on the print head and prolong its life by reducing buildup. A patent-pending automated Ink Circulation System reduces waste, for dramatically lower running costs while ensuring exceptional image quality over the long term.

• Easy to Load Media Feed

  A simplified media feed system automatically aligns roll media for printing. This intuitive system detects and adjusts the pinch roll wheels to the width of the installed media, ensuring proper placement and tracking. The BN-20 supports roll media from 6 inches up to 20 inches in width and weighing up to 13 pounds.

• NO ROLAND HAS EVER BEEN EASIER TO USE

  The BN-20 is the easiest to use of any device in the Roland printer lineup. All functionality of the device is handled through the VersaStudio utility software. The utility software package is actively open in the Windows® taskbar and controls basic machine functions, status and calibrations. The utility software also monitors replacement of consumable parts like wipers and contour cutting blades.

• PRINT AND CUT IN ONE INTEGRATED WORKFLOW

  The VersaStudio streamlines the production process by automatically contour cutting printed graphics, eliminating the need to reload and reposition graphics. For laminated graphics, our Quadralign® four-point optical registration system allows users to remove prints, laminate and simply reload them for precision cutting. Quadralign automatically realigns the cutting path and compensates for skew and distortion.

The BN-20 comes with award-winning Roland ECO-SOL MAX ink for outdoor signs, labels and decals. Graphics are easy to produce and durable up to three years outdoors without lamination.*1 The BN-20 also supports water-based Roland FPG inks for exceptional indoor graphics.*2

*1 Three-year outdoor durability is based on accelerated weather tests conducted by Roland DG. Results may vary depending on the location and application. Some applications, including vehicle graphics, may require lamination.
